I just finished day 7 of the @YouVersion plan ‘Matthew’. Check it out here:
Got behind at church camp this week with no cell service ( I mean I could of read in my physical bible but I am enjoying the NLT version). Got caught up this morning. I love all the parables and hearing all Jesus stories that I’ve heard so many times before but are still so amazing.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
Psalm 103:13 NIV
Happy Fathers day, to my wonderful amazing husband who has given me all my hearts desire.
To my Dad who has taken care of me and supported me long after he could of stopped, but also taught me how to work hard and take care of myself.
To all Dad’s who are stepping up to take away the stereotype of uninvolved fathers or who are struggeling with seeing their kids or just with something their kids are doing. You are doing GREAT and we love you. This world doesn’t celebrate dad’s enough. Call on God to assist & you will rock this Dad thing!
To our ultimate heavenly Father. Thank you for loving me in ways no one else on earth can. For your constant mercy and grace. For your forgiveness…..oh for your forgiveness!!!! Where would I be without it?
For the blessings you give that I in no way deserve And of course for Jesus.
Happy Fathers Day!
A powerful reminder that God cares for the least of us. And so should we.
Father of orphans, champion of widows, is God in his holy house. God makes homes for the homeless, leads prisoners to freedom, but leaves rebels to rot in hell.
Psalm 68:5 MSG
Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he’ll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes!
