Ever wonder how God does it? How is ALWAYS shows you in his word what you need to hear when you need to hear it? This was really appropriate for me today. I hope it helps you.
It’s just Monday, but burdens of life may already have you exhausted.
I know that i had such a lovely weekend with my famiky that i am sad a new work week has begun. But there is a time and a place for everything & i need to remember that and start my week with Joy.
Some of us may have bigger things going on that make this workweek dreadful. Maybe your job is awful, maybe you spent all weekend taking care of a loved one & you got no rest. Maybe sickness is taking a toll on you, or your weekend with your family was just cruddy. Whatever it is, God hears you and he meets you there.
Remember to take time with God and he will give you the rest you need and the ability to carry your burdens through the week. Live in his shelter and find rest in him.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].
PSALM 91:1 AMP
Be a Ruth. It’s something I am having to remind myself if ALOT lately. It seems unfair, it seems exhausting, it can me a bit depressing. But it will be worth it. Maybe not today, maybe not next month, maybe not even next year, but eventually it will be worth it. Remember when we have the Holy Spirit that’s all we need. If people we are trying to have relationships with rebuff us, take a deep breath , call in the Holy Spirit , and keep going. Go where they will go. Be A Ruth.
Verses like this sometimes get to me. I know they are true. I want to follow them, but sometimes I get confused on if I am actually doing that ya know? I’m trying to make sure I’ve committed all my ways to go and I’m laying down my life for Jesus, but….am I really? Always a good to see it to remember it .
abide.co/prayer/dhmuyu. – today’s abide is a very good prayer on giving your family over to the Lord. It is #BabyLogan life verse. The verse I hope he will remember and recall all his life. He was prayed for, he was received as an answer to a prayer, and he is given back to God.
“I prayed for this child, and the LORD answered my prayer and gave him to me. Now I give him back to the LORD. He will belong to the LORD all his life.” And he worshiped the LORD there.”
1 Samuel 1:27-28 NCV
So often we see the single part ” for this child I have prayed” on cute Christian artwork. But there is a whole mother level to it. Remember when God grants us gifts they are truly his. His will be done not ours.
I encourage you to find life verses for yourself and your family.
